Privacy Policy

This policy explains how your personal data is collected, used and protected while you use Olalabs on the web (olalabs.io) and in the Olalabs Android app. The app and the website share the same account and the same data. Your rights under Turkish data protection law (KVKK, Law No. 6698) and the GDPR are summarized below.

1. Data we collect

• Account information: your email address, and your name and profile photo if you sign in with Google
• Content you upload: photos you upload to generate a video
• Generated content: videos generated under your account
• Usage data: generation history, credit activity, error logs
• Purchase records: when you subscribe, we store your plan, the purchase identifier and the payment status that Google Play or our web payment provider reports to us. We never see or store your card number.

The Android app uses your camera or photo library only when you choose to take or pick a photo to upload. It does not use advertising identifiers, location, contacts or analytics SDKs.

2. How we use your data

• To provide the Service: sending your photo to the model to generate your video
• To manage your account and credit balance
• For debugging and improving service quality
• To meet legal obligations

We don't sell your data for advertising or share it with third parties for marketing.

3. Third-party services

The Service runs on the following infrastructure providers:

• fal.ai — video generation model; your uploaded photo is sent to this provider for generation
• Supabase — database, authentication and file storage
• Vercel — hosting and delivery
• Google — if you use the Sign in with Google option, and Google Play for subscriptions bought in the Android app (Google Play processes the payment)

4. Retention period

Videos you generate are stored for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your profile information, uploaded photos and videos are deleted within 30 days. Records that must be retained for legal reasons (e.g. billing) are kept without any link to your account or identity.

How to delete your account and data

• In the app: Account → Delete account
• On the web: Account page → Delete account
• By email: write to hello@olalabs.io from your account email address

Deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription automatically. Please cancel it in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions) first, otherwise billing continues.

5. Your rights

Under KVKK and the GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access your data and request a copy
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data ("the right to be forgotten")
• Object to or request restriction of processing

To exercise these rights, just email hello@olalabs.io. We respond within 30 days at the latest.

6. Security

Your data travels over encrypted connections; row-level security (RLS) in the database means you can only access your own data. Sensitive fields like credit balance can only be modified server-side.

7. Cookies

We use cookies that are strictly necessary to keep your session signed in. We also use analytics and advertising tools: Google Analytics, PostHog and Microsoft Clarity (to understand how the site is used — Clarity records anonymized clicks, scrolling and screen replays on our public browsing pages only, never on pages where you upload photos or videos or view your account), and the Meta Pixel (to measure the performance of our ads on Meta platforms and to show our ads to people who visited the site). These tools may set cookies or similar identifiers and receive information such as pages viewed, device and browser details, and whether you signed up or started a checkout. They do not receive your photos, videos or generated content. You can block these cookies in your browser settings or with a content blocker; the Service works without them. 8. Children

The Service is not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, email hello@olalabs.io and we will delete it.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes are announced by email.
